Students in Peoria Public Schools District 150 Boundaries

Washington Gifted School, a special program of the Peoria Public Schools District #150, is dedicated to meeting the needs of academically gifted students in grades five through eight. We invite students who are residents of the Peoria Public Schools District #150 boundary areas to apply for admission to our program. The application is attached.
An informational meeting about our program is scheduled at Washington Gifted School on Thursday, January 7, 2010, 6:30-7:30 p.m. for students not presently enrolled in the Peoria Public Schools and their parents/guardians. For those interested in attending, please contact our school office at 672-6563 by Tuesday, January 5, 2010, to make a reservation for the evening.
Our application deadline is Friday, January 15, 2010. The application must be accompanied by a check in the amount of $40.00 (forty dollars) made payable to “Peoria Public Schools”. The fee covers the costs of the Cognitive Abilities Tests and accompanying administration fees. The Cognitive Abilities Tests will be administered at Washington Gifted School on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 8:30 a.m.
